I’m adding by hand phone number and a note to a chat,
but upon getting that chat via API these fields are missing.
Is there anything i have to do to get those custom fields? or they simply not included into the API response?

Hi.
I figured out that the phone/custom attributes are assigned to the contact object
and i can get them with another API call so that’s fine.
Notes still not coming through but that’s not an issue because i can use custom attributes.
But all these extra pieces of data could be delivered within 1 API call(chat.list) instead of making extra requests for each chat to get the desired information.
We don’t have many chats yet, but this approach doubles the requests what i have to do every time and this is wasting of resources.
