Auto refresh needs to be more robust

When I am working in the inbox, I find myself unable to trust that Auto Refresh works — it often does, but not always. Too often I have opened up a seemingly open topic, only to find that I just closed it (I don’t rely on my memory when a computer should do the remembering for me).

This means that I am using the refresh button in the browser every time I go back to the Inbox from a ticket, because I can’t trust that the information in the inbox is current.

I would love to be able to trust the Auto Refresh setting completely. Please make it worth my trust.
