a few days ago I reported that it was impossible to upload videos to the knowledge base via ‘Articles’. you kindly fixed that within a few hours. Unfortunately now it is impossible to load a written document AND a video, it appears to upload correctly but when you look at the article directly ( thru’ the dedicated articles list) the video remains and the text has disappeared. Hi @captainkeith,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Could you please share a short recording of the issue using the browser extension jam.dev? This will help our team better understand and investigate what’s happening.
I also tried replicating the issue on my end and was able to add both a paragraph and a video successfully.
Looking forward to your response.
Sorry, I don’t have the technical skills to use jam.dev. I have tried almost every combination of publishing to the knowledgebase using private or public, and all that ever is published is the title. The main body when I eventually am able to select camera does not appear when I select the article through the normal green book thing.
Hi @captainkeith,
We’re aware of this issue and the team is working on a fix.
In the meantime:
- Only paste in plain text.
- Use the editor to format it (bold, bullet points, etc.)
- If you need to add an image or video, use the appropriate block (/image or /video) and add it via the block.
Thanks for your patience while we sort this out!
Currently, Tawk.to’s knowledge base doesn’t support publishing text and video in the same article at once.
Workaround: paste only plain text for your content, format it in the editor, and add videos/images using the dedicated blocks (/video or /image). This ensures both appear correctly until the team releases a fix.
