Chat widget doesn't load on mobile and On desktop after closing welcome message widget icon disappears

I installed tawk.to on my WordPress site using the official plugin.

On mobile devices chat widget doesn’t show up and no welcome message is displayed. But I can hear a sound playing after 20 seconds ( I set that in the settings to load welcome message after 20s )

Second, on desktop view welcome message get displayed. But after closing welcome message chat widget disappears. The reason for this is the iframe container div toggles a class to widget-hidden when I close the welcome message. I can see the chat widget when I changed this class to widget-visible from the dev tools. Also The chat widget is not visible until welcome message appears after 20s.

Yes. I had enabled Hide widget on load in desktop and mobile options. Disabling them fixed the issue.

I also do not see the widget on mobile when using WordPress.

Thank you. When I checked, I could see the chat widget on your website using a mobile device. The chat widget will load once your website has fully loaded. Have you tried switching the network connection? How about clearing your browser’s cache?

Oooh great! I disabled my VPN, and now I see it on all 6 browsers that I use to test things with on mobile. :slight_smile: thank you!

For the mobile issue, clear your cache, disable other plugins to check for conflicts, and look for JavaScript errors in the browser console. On desktop, the widget disappearing after closing the welcome message is likely due to the widget-hidden class. Try adding this CSS: .widget-hidden { display: block !important; } . If issues persist, contact tawk.to support for further help. Hope this works!
