If a visitor clicks on the chat window, they most likely intend to start writing. So why do they need to click a second time? Additionally, ‘type here and press enter’ does not attract enough attention.
Please focus the cursor on the typing area after the window is opened. That would greatly improve the user experience.

Agreed, clicking twice is unnecessary. Auto-focusing the cursor in the chat input field is more user-friendly.
