I just noticed whenever I tested out sending messages on the live chat, receiving chat is updated real time but whenever I click on the Inbox, it does not show up there. It usually takes up to 20mins to arrive on the inbox and also on my email.

Chats are session-based. They’re only saved in your Inbox when the session is over.
The customer you were chatting with most likely stayed on your website for those 20 minutes.
Hi Kris, I hope you are well. Perhaps later (it is not urgent), it would be good if one could define how long an inactive chat should be closed. For example, due to the volume we handle, 10 minutes would serve us well, so we don’t have 30-50 chats pending that confuse us. Big hug. I love tawkto
