I would file this as a UI bug, because it has caused at least one user (me) a lot of frustration — until I figured out the bug.
Tawk Mobile is using a “o with x over it” as an icon for closing chat. Fine.
Tawk Desktop is also using that icon, but now it means something else, mainly “clear selection”. In Tawk Desktop one has to click on a checkmark to close chats.
I don’t care which icon is used, just do it consistently between mobile and desktop.
Hi @Thorlakur, thanks for the feedback. Could you please share some screenshots or a video recording of what you’re referring to so we can investigate?
Note the icon next to “Mark as Closed” on the desktop. That one uses the same icon as “Mark as Closed” on mobile, but has another function (namely, “Clear Selection”, which I would argue is a bit redundant seeing that the checkmark left to “Type” has that function already — if double-clicked).
