Is it possible to somehow configure Apollo so that he does not respond to Pre-Chat form?

Thank you for your suggestion @kristaps . I have considered something like this, but an issue with it is, this would be 497 characters:

Visitors start a chat using the pre-chat form. Always include this in your initial greeting:
“Hi there [name], how can I help?
[option] I have a question about bidding
[option] I have a question about an order
[option] I have a question about my invoice
[option] I have a question about payment
[option] I have a question about delivery
[option] I have a question about collection
[option] I have a question about my account
[option] Can I talk to a specific site team?
[option] I have a different question”

And with the character limit in the base prompt, this isn’t exactly feasible as I need other instructions in there.

And you have to bear in mind - I want these options to be different based on which page the user is on, which I am able to achieve with triggers at the minute.

Hi @KiranK, thanks for your reply.

We’re planning to add a new AI Agent feature called Scenarios that will solve the character limit in your Base Prompt.

Would you be open to sharing your current Base Prompt so we can check whether it can be optimised? If you don’t want to share it publicly, please feel free to email me at kristaps@tawk.to.

I want these options to be different based on which page the user is on, which I am able to achieve with triggers at the minute.

Even so, using Triggers to implement custom welcome messages based on the page where the visitor first entered the chat would only work if you’re not using the Pre-chat form.

I’ve asked the team if detecting the visitor’s page will be in scope for the initial Scenarios release.

Stay tuned for updates!

Hi @kristaps

That sounds great - it would be great if this scenarios feature had all of the same functionality that triggers do as well.

I will email you my base prompt as it is now.

Is there any timeline for when we can expect this scenarios feature or a breakdown of what it will enable us to do?

Thanks,
Kiran

@KiranK Thanks! Let’s continue the conversation via email.

No timeline for Scenarios yet, but we’ll be sure to keep everyone posted.
