Hello and thrilled to be here. my website has tawk.to chat widget and looking good. I have done search but with little luck. When I get the doorbell ring alerting me of a visitor to the website, can I start chatting so the visitor can see that I am trying to engage them? I am hoping to get their attention so they ask questions. Thanks for helping a newbie ![]()

Yes, you can see who is on your website at any time in the Monitoring area:
That said, since only ~1-3% of your website visitors will initiate chats, instead of manually engaging them, we recommend tailoring your automated welcome message in Admin > Settings > Triggers:
Every customer who visits your site can be automatically engaged this way.
If a customer replies to this welcome message, you will get a notification for the incoming chat request while you’re logged into tawk.to.
