I am not receiving notifications for offline messages. I have checked mail notification and are all enabled and I get a sound notification when I get a visitor on my website but not when there is a offline form message.
For this, to ensure you receive our emails, please white list noreply@tawk.to and tickets@tawk.to. May I also confirm the email address you have set to receive the mail notification?
I have just added the two email addresses to the whitelist in outlook. The email address I have put in to receive the notifications is ian@it-doneright.co.uk. I think that is different to the email address I signed up with in Tawk, does that matter?
It is okay to use a different email address as recipient to the Mail Notifications. There is an option where you can set to send notifications to a particular member or another different email address.
If you’re using a Google or Gmail account to receive notifications, Tawk.to is blocked by Gmail, and the emails won’t be delivered. I suggest switching to an Outlook or Hotmail account to receive notifications. Likewise, if you’re using Tawk.to’s ticketing system and reply to a Gmail account, it’s very likely that the email won’t be delivered. I’ve been dealing with this issue for over a year. @kristaps
tawk.to emails are being blocked by gmail accounts since over a year, and sometimes they arrive to hotmail or outlook accounts, and sometimes the emails or notifications do not arrive , ive been dealing with this for over more than a year… as well reported many many times, I don’t know why fixing this isn’t a priority,
I’m using a professional email address that I set up in my cPanel that has the domain name at the end for example notifications@domain.co.uk. I’m using Outlook to receive emails but I don’t get email notifications for offline messages or messages when a visitor requests chat while I’m online and available. Is annoying as I miss offline messages and don’t seem until I refresh the dashboard or click on different areas on the tawk software on the pc and then it shows in the inbox on the tawk software
