We have enabled the pre chat feature which is incredibly helpful in getting information from prospects. We also have an auto trigger for new visitors. The problem is that it is impossible to make the “1 new message” tab notification (which comes and goes no stop) disappear without the person reading the message,
But to read it, they have to enter the pre chat questions, which makes no sense!
Could it be possible to either have the option to disable the 1 new message notification in the tab or mark the message as read when the visitor clicks on the tawk icon?
That’d be really great!
