should be the option to disable it timestamp from categories and also the date should be related to the day the last article e was updated not the category.

This is a great idea! Although not a bug. If you post to “Feature Requests”, it can be voted on. I have the same issue. I do support for older, legacy telephone systems. Once I post a FAQ, it will never need updating. The technology is no longer in development. The “last updated” is a totally irrelevant date for my use case.
