I have a properly configured pre-chat form which has both the Name and Email fields marked as mandatory. When I visit the page and open a chat on my own site, the fields do appear to be mandatory. However, we have seen a lot of spam chats lately that have somehow been able to ignore or bypass this, more than ten of them in the last few hours alone.
When this happens, they are able to open a chat and send a message without inputting either their Name or Email field. The spam messages are all very similar, like:
Hey there, I'm interested in learning how this investment platform works. Can you give me a simple rundown?
Does anyone have a solution to stop this? Thank you.

Hi, I have also had to disable our chat due to this. I had previously suggested a “ban per keyword” so that we could at least bypass this particular wave of spammers.
