When updating an alias name the changes does not reflect in the list of aliases shown when starting a new chat. It’s still the old/original alias names that are shown in the list for new chats.
Deleting an alias does also not remove the alias from the list either, so duplicates in the list can occur.
Deleting browser caches has no effect. Opening a new browser in private-mode does also not change this behavior. It might be a server-side cache/dictionary that are not maintained.

This is not an isolated case, but a general bug that is fairly easy to recreate for you and all other customers/users of the solution. Add an alias. Delete it. Create one with the same name. Now when a chat is started in a browser (NOT in the app), the alias will appear in the alias list twice.
Hi,
Thank you for getting back to us.
I’ve followed the steps mentioned above, but I wasn’t able to replicate the issue with duplicate aliases being created.
Would you be available for a call so we can check this thoroughly on your end and get it resolved as soon as possible?
Let me know what time works best for you.
It seems like the change to the aliases are now reflected in the list. So you can close the issue.
Thanks
