Although the profile picture is set it doesn’t show up in the widget once the agent joined the conversation.
Is there a checkmark I missed?

Before joining the chat, ensure that you’re not using an alternate alias.
If you’re entering the chat under your own identity, verify that you’ve uploaded your profile picture. This image will be displayed in the chat once you join.
You might also be referring to an automated Trigger welcome message. You can edit the avatar of the Trigger message in Admin > Settings > Triggers.
