window.Tawk_API.setAttributes returns INVALID_EMAIL for some valid emails (multiple dots)

It looks like the Javascript API expects a single dot in the domain part of the email.

Calls to window.Tawk_API.setAttributes return INVALID_EMAIL for emails like foo@usls.edu.ph, foo@unsta.edu.ar, or foo@go.thu.edu.tw.
