If we cannot have the option to delete tags, could we possibly get the ability to edit the tags that are already there? This would be most helpful.
If we could have analytics showing how many chats we get under certain tags would be nice as well. However I feel like being able to get the tags under control first would be a starter step going into the analytics direction.
If we are able to at least edit the tags that are in our list I am certain most people using TAWK would be extremely happy with the option of editing tags.
Or at least assigning a permission level to being able to create a tag. As it stands right now anyone using TAWK can create a tag and that just compounds the tag situation even more with all of the misspelled and typo tags.

Thank you for your feedback and detailed suggestions. At present, the tawk.to system does not support editing or deleting tags once they are created. We understand how this can cause confusion when multiple users create similar or misspelled tags.
Your recommendations regarding tag editing, permissions for tag creation, and tag-based analytics are very helpful. These have been forwarded to our product team for review and possible inclusion in future updates.
As a temporary measure, you may consider establishing internal tag guidelines within your team to maintain consistency and avoid duplicates.

I too have enquired about the possibility of this. It is a normal expectation that you’d be able to delete/edit tags as required, and it is most likely the case that users are setting tags without prior knowledge that they cannot be deleted or edited (myself included). I set some tags purely to decide if Custom Attributes or Tags would be better suited for our use case, and have now ended up with a bunch of irrelevant tags that we can’t remove - this will be confusing for our users. Tag guidelines only really work if you know this in advance, and also relies on people remembering the guidelines, which often they don’t.
