Apollo in chat messaging delay

We have been using the Apollo AI assist for over 3 months now and made significant improvements to our knowledge base to cater to customers’ needs. However, the issue we are facing right now is customers skipping the answer provided by the bot because they understand it’s a bot.
The main reason is - the inhuman speed of answering in chat. Currently, Apollo has a setting to delay answering chats, which allows agent to be a priority in picking up chats, but there is no in chat delay option.
I saw 1 similar request here in the community thread but I feel like this should be requested more.

Please add in chat delay to humanize the answers provided by the AI assists. It would make the feature significantly better. Thank you!

I completely agree with you that it would be very good, although if the client sends 3 messages in a row, no matter how much delay Apollo has, it will respond to each client’s message independently or the last one instead of the context of those last 3 messages
