Using a phone look up utility, or Google, Facebook databases, etc. it would be great if tawk.to could automatically populate data fields for contacts.
For example, if I enter a phone number, automatic look up the phone number for a matching name and address.
In other apps I use, if someone gives me a GMail address, their provided name and photo shows up in the app.
Can we add this or similar functionality to tawk.to?
At the moment, tawk.to does not have a built-in feature that automatically performs phone-number or email lookups against third-party databases such as Google, Facebook, or other data-enrichment services.
That said, this is a useful feature request, and I’ll make sure your feedback is passed along to our product team for consideration. The feasibility would also depend on the APIs, permissions, privacy requirements, and data-access policies of the external services involved.
