Better filtering options for tickets/chats

These options would add so much to our experience using the tickets dashboard:

  1. Please filter out closed tickets. The default view should automatically filter them out. Once the ticket is closed, there is no reason for it to stay on the dashboard among the pending and closed tickets (unless the user wants it).

  2. Please add an option to filter multiple properties. For example, right now, I can put a filter for “Open” tickets. However, adding a filter for “Open” AND “Pending” tickets is not possible. Here is an example of what we need:

  3. Please keep the last selected options in tabs. To check my tickets, every time I open the platform, I need to go to the inbox → click on tickets → add a filter for open tickets. This feels so repetitive.

Yes! I totally agree on all three points.

A few points.

  • If we get nr. 1, I think the need for nr. 2 will be less.
  • If we get nr. 1, I think Closed tickets still need to come up when searching.
  • If we get nr. 2, I think the filter will need to be an OR filter (sorry for being pedantic, but I have worked with programmers and they are prone to take things literally).

For me, if I would get nr. 2 and 3, I would be a happy camper. My setup would be to always show Open and (meaning OR) Pending, which I wouldn’t need to fiddle with because of nr. 3.
