Chat Widget - Override Scheduler

Hello,

I have a client who uses chat widget on their online store. They also sell in person. When their shop gets busy, they want to go offline.

Their scheduler, which they love, is currently set to their business hours. The option to also “go offline when all agents are offline” is also enabled.

It seems that this “go offline” feature is non-functional when scheduler is in use.

Feature request would be a toggle of some sort to manually override the scheduler temporarily to go offline during enabled hours.

At this moment, we have to probably abandon using scheduler even though the client loves it.

You can override the chat widget scheduler if there are no agents online in the dashboard and AI Assist is disabled on your property. Thanks for the follow-up. They’ve been attempting to do this for awhile now and haven’t had it work. They primarily are accessing via the app and not the website. I think that this is too complicated for them to do each time they need to.

For now, I’m going to probably direct them to temporarily adjust the schedule for the current day of the week.
