Now when I set up the AI assist to ask for a customer to leave phone number, I only can see if somone left this by reading al the chat history back. I also added a tag to the customer leaving his phone number behind, but I can only find these customers by filtering.
I also tried the contact form, but this is too much for people that only want to leave their phone number or email.
Now there is no quick fix for this, so that the customer can only leave his phone number behind and me getting a notification from the tag that is added, or a shorter contact form.
Would really love to have the option to make custom contact form, or to see in the inbox overview exaclty which tags a chat has without having to filter.
Customizing forms that AI assist can introduce is something we are planning for future updates.
For now, a workaround for your use case would be adding a simple API integration for AI to fill in Google Form when a specific scenario happens, like visitor requesting a callback.
In short, there would be 3 parts, OpenAPI schema that teaches AI the function, Script linked to Google Form that fills the form, and script added to Google Sheet that sends you a notification email every time a form is submitted.
