I’ve been using the tawk.to and chat features, and I’ve realized how much more powerful the platform would be if Triggers worked natively within messaging channels like WhatsApp.
Currently, triggers are incredibly useful for the web widget, but extending this functionality to WhatsApp would allow for better automation and more proactive engagement. It would be a huge productivity boost for teams managing high volumes of messages.
Specifically, it would be great to see:
- Automatic replies based on keywords in WhatsApp.
- Time-based triggers for follow-ups on messaging channels.
- Action-based triggers (like tag assignments) triggered by incoming WhatsApp messages.
Is this something currently on the roadmap or being considered for a future update? I’d love to hear if others in the community would find this as useful as I would!
