if an agent forgets to reply in the middle of conservation, automatically send a message

I want to add a feature into my trigger or new one. This should be like that when an agent is in a chat is already served (not requesting) and this agent forgets to reply for 2-3 mins (in the middle of conversation), after this 2-3 mins if this agent doesnt still reply, that will automatically send a message “please wait. (its just an example)”. i tried a trigger but that worked always, i meant it works even if it responds. I want this counter to be reset when agent or visitor reply.
