I’ve recently launched Tawk on 2 sites (more planned), I have used a combination of Tawk API JS and an additional multiple-choice (set to be singular, to form a checkbox) input on our pre-chat/offline forms to allow customer sign up to our newsletter.
Is there plans for any sort of newsletter plugin for Campaign Monitor for example? Or improvements to allow easier Newletter sign-up?
…also, a way of suppressing a question/answer being inserted into the initial chat would be nice. For example, our customers get “Newsletter: Would you like to receive our newsletters?” in the inital chat when it starts, it would be nice to flag a question/answer as for external API use or something, so that it’s not inserted into the chat transcript.
