We’re utilizing Tawk.to as an interal company KB and ticketing system and we’re looking into integrating AI for employees to chat with for policy or procedure questions. We use Microsoft Teams for compnay communication. It would be awesome to have direct integrated chat capability with Microsoft Teams so that our teams can jump into a Microsoft Teams channel (or chat) and chat with Tawk.to Apollo, create tickets, ore view KB articles.

While it’s not possible to integrate our AI with MS Teams (yet), you can use the direct chat link feature to facilitate an internal AI agent that your team can chat with for training and support.
Here’s how you can set this up:
- Set up a property in tawk.to (or use your company’s one, if you wish)
- Train your AI Agent (you can have up to 3 AI Agents on the Growth plan, and even more on higher tier plans)
- If you’re using your company’s customer-facing property, then you would want to create a new widget that isn’t available anywhere publicly.
- Make sure that your newly trained AI agent is assigned to this widget.
Finally, share the direct chat link with your team, and they will be able to chat with your AI agent!
Note: AI Assist cannot autonomously create tickets or edit KB articles just yet, but you can use AI commands in the KB for AI assistance when writing articles, etc.
