Ticket creation via email very delayed

Customers are reporting that tickets are not being created for hours at a time. I know of at least two waiting 30+ minutes, one of them 2+ hours. They have not gotten their confirmation receipt email, and I do not see them in my inbox.

Unfortunately, this has returned. I am waiting on emails that customers said they have sent, and my customers are not getting emails I am sending them via the Ticket function. Why is this part of tawk.to so unreliable?
