For extensive trigger use across different properties, a trigger message option with start and end times would be ideal to leave a bunch of trigger messages to be turned on and off at different times even when the admin is away from the keyboard.

By design, Triggers won’t fire when the chat widget is offline.
You can control this by either manually updating your availability or setting up working hours in the widget scheduler. Note: the scheduler would have to be set up for each property/widget separately.
