Timestamp display in a chat window

Hello

We’ve noticed a recent change in the chat window (though we’re not sure exactly when it occurred) regarding how message timestamps are displayed.

Previously, the time was shown alongside each message, which was very convenient and informative.
Now, the time is not visible unless we hover over a specific message.
Please refer to the screenshots below for clarification:

We asked the question to the Tawk operator and he confirmed that the change is global and was done with the recent update.

Is there any chance timestamp display can be implemented as a setting so we can select between old or new visual implenetation?
