Is there any desire to expand the triggers? The conditions are very limited.
I currently have a few initial triggers asking a customer some basic questions… after that, I’d like them to provide a bit more details of their ‘issue’ at hand…
at this point i want to create a trigger where a customer can say anything here and it will provide a reply… the lack of workflow and variables is very limiting.
Thanks for sharing your feedback. At the moment, trigger conditions are designed to be simple and don’t support advanced workflows, open-ended responses, or dynamic variables. This is why triggers can’t yet respond to “anything” a visitor types after the initial questions.
We understand how expanding triggers with more flexible logic and variables would be useful for gathering detailed information and creating more guided conversations. This is valuable feedback, and we’ll be sure to pass it along to our product team for consideration in future updates.
For now, you may want to combine triggers with the AI Assistant or manual follow-ups to collect additional details once the initial questions are answered.
