Currently, the whole platform is translatable into other languages, including the chat and the knowledge base.
Unfortunately, emails related to tickets can only be sent in English.
This is a clear (but very silly) deal breaker for any use case that handles non-English speaking customers. I’m surprised by the amount of features tawk.to has, while also being surprised that this is not one of them.
I hope you understand how restricting the language to English harms the user experience. We need the emails to be written in Portuguese.
I imagine that translating the phrases isn’t the issue because there don’t seem to be many variations. In any case, I would be happy to help.
I hope this feature is introduced as soon as possible so that we can match Portuguese emails with our Portuguese-speaking AI chatbot and our Portuguese-written knowledge base.
This has been requested for a long time; however, the developers do not consider it a priority since they haven’t taken it into account. It seems that the market they are focused on is solely the American one.
Totally agree, this feels like an important missing feature. If the platform already supports multiple languages, emails should match that for a consistent user experience. Hopefully this gets prioritized soon, especially for teams working with non-English customers.
